"The EAT, PRAY, LOVE for guys - which women will adore!
Men will love this book because it's all about process: step-by-step how-to knowledge. Women will love it because it's all about the things women value most: family,
friends, spirituality and love. The manuscript has a distinctive, humorous,
intimate voice that is a joy to read."
----- Carol Gaskin, Editorial Alchemy

LOOKS EASY ENOUGH
A Joyful Memoir of Overcoming Disease, Divorce, and Disaster
THE BOOK MAY CHANGE THE WAY YOU SEE LIFE!
AN INSPIRATIONAL MEMOIR OF ONE MAN'S GROWING THROUGH ADVERSITY.
After working as an architect for twenty-five years, the author decided at the age of forty-six to marry for the first time, retire and move with his bride to a small mountain town to build their dream home and to live the simple life. But things don't always go as planned . . . Instead, the author found himself supporting his wife through breast cancer (who after having a mastectomy abandoned conventional protocol in favor of organic foods, meditation, and psychotherapy), helping his sister through a grueling four-year divorce from an abusive husband (the husband had a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde personality - a nice guy in public and an angry bully behind closed doors), painfully witnessing their retirement money circle the drain in the biggest stock market crash since the Great Depression, and watching from their rear deck the flames of the largest forest fire in California's history race through their mountain community. With a thousand-foot wall of dense smoke and raging flames less than a hundred yards from their home, they decided to evacuate. Thirty minutes later their home - the home they spent the last three years building themselves - turned into a six-inch pile of ash . . . Yet through it all - cancer, divorce, a market crash, and a forest fire - the author ultimately sees the big picture of life - what he calls the Magic - and comes out smiling.
The refrain, "looks easy enough", is the author's general attitude towards life's many processes - from breast reconstruction to pouring foundations to filing legal documents. It is also intended as an empowering affirmation to inspire readers with the confidence that they, too, can tackle even the most disheartening of life's challenges and land on their feet.
